HILL FARMING IN CUMBRIA
Several years ago I said that I wanted a trade a life in technology where time is measured in nanoseconds for life as a sheep farmer where time is measured in seasons. Since then I have met Joe, a shepherd in Cumbria, and I have spent time with him as he tended his sheep in his farm, on the mountainous fells and in every sort of weather. It's a tough calling.
