Scully Hill Studio is a creative partnership of Yavone Evans and Spencer Stephens that started in an acting class in San Jose, California ​.

SPENCER

Yavone is a multi-talented artist.

SHE landed HER first commercial when SHE was 19, and since then SHE HAS WORKED in commercials and print, performed in theater, TV series and movies.

SHE is the third generation of artist in her family. She came to painting late, spending a day a week with her mother. it started as something they could do together. Now it is her passion.

​"My paintings are about light and air. The sight and smell of a breezy day enjoyed with the windows open."

​My influences are the impressionists, particularly Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot, and the US artist Quang Ho who I have had the privilege of studying with.

She has a unique skill with color. Being tetrachromatic she has perfect color memory and sees the slightest differences in tone and hue.

Spencer grew up in London when it was still in black and white. He has traveled a lot to places that are too dangerous to visit now. He moved to California for the colour.

"Photography is about feeling. can you capture an image that will invoke a feeling about the subject the a person viewing it. If I can't do that, I put down my camera until I find something where I can."

He regards himself as a still photographer working in film and digitally but increasingly with Nikon Z series cameras and two drones he shoots video. one of his proudest moments was being invited to be a member of the ASC.

Spencer works at the intersection of technology and media & entertainment in Hollywood. He has masters degrees in computer science and in cybersecurity.
